At only 8 years old, he participated in his first national championship in Italy, achieving remarkable results.
In 2016, he became the Romanian national champion in the 50cc class and secured 3rd place in the Italian National Championship, PreMiniGP class.
A year later, he won the Romanian national title again, this time in the 85cc class.

In 2018, he finished 2nd in the Italian National Championship, PreMoto3 (125cc) class, confirming his status as a rising talent.
He then competed in the Northern Talent Cup, where in 2021 he achieved his first international victory on the Assen circuit in the Netherlands.

In the following years, he raced in the European Stock 600 Championship and the European Moto2 Championship, making the transition to the professional level of performance motorcycling.

Since the 2025 season, Jacopo Hosciuc has been competing in the MotoE World Championship with team MSI, becoming the second Romanian rider in history to compete in the MotoGP World Championship series.
